— A calendar made with care

Never miss your fast — even when you're far from home.

A panchang built for the family that prays together but lives in different cities. Your time. Your tradition. No ads, ever.

We'll write only when v0.1 is ready. No marketing emails. Ever.

— The morning you've lived a hundred times

Three forwards. Three different paran times. One Ekadashi.

Sunrise in Kolhapur is not sunrise in Mumbai. The tithi opens and closes at different moments in each city. Two devout people in the same family can answer "when do I break my fast?" differently — and both be right.

Sushma · Kolhapur, 6:42 am

She has been observing Ekadashi the way her grandmother did. Today she opens WhatsApp to ask her son and daughter when they're breaking the fast. She gets three forwarded screenshots from three different apps. None of them agree.

Akashraj · Mumbai, 6:50 am

He is in another city for work. His paran window is not his mother's paran window — but the app on his phone only shows one location. So he switches the city, takes a screenshot, switches back, and forwards it to the family group. Every Ekadashi morning. For years.

Last Vaikuntha Ekadashi

An app — one of the popular ones — told a family member to break the fast at the wrong time. She didn't realise until later. She doesn't use that app anymore. She doesn't trust any of them.

Both of you. One card. The cross-check at 3 seconds, not 30 minutes.
"I live in Mumbai, my mother lives in Kolhapur. Both of us have different times, so I have to check it manually — like your time is 6:40 to 8:40, for me it could be 7:15 to something like that." — Akashraj Ambre · founding collaborator · Mumbai → Kolhapur
— Vaishnav, Shaiva, both

Your tradition's rules. Not someone else's.

Ekadashi paran is computed one way in the Vaishnav tradition and a slightly different way in the Smarta tradition. Sankashti moonrise matters to a Shaiva household but not the same way to every household. Pradosh has its own window. Shivaratri has four prahars.

We built the tradition-rule layer ourselves, from primary sources, and had each rule reviewed by tradition elders. Vaishnav and Shaiva families are both first-class users from day one — not an afterthought, not a "settings menu deep dive".

When you open the app for the first time, you tell us how your family observes. The whole app — every event, every reminder, every time — shifts to match.

— Wakes you at the right minute

The reminder you actually need, at YOUR right time.

The evening before — a quiet note that tomorrow is Ekadashi. So you can plan the next morning's meal, and tell the children.

Five minutes before your paran window opens — a gentle reminder. Computed for the city you're in right now. Not your home city. Not your default city. The city your phone is in.

And for Shaiva families on Sankashti — a moonrise reminder at the exact computed minute for where you are. Because Sankashti is broken on moonrise, not on a clock.

— On the day, the whole app shifts

Janmashtami should not look like a Tuesday. So we won't make it look like one.

On a festival day the whole app changes with you. The colours shift. The poster on the home screen marks the day. The lock-screen image, if you want it, becomes the day's deity. The order of events changes to put today first.

It's a small thing. But on Shivaratri night, when you've been awake for the vigil, a phone screen that has noticed what day it is — that's a small, real comfort.

— A short, honest list

What we promise. And what we won't do.

No ads. Ever.

No banner ads. No popup ads. No video ads. No "watch this to unlock" ads. Not at v0.1, not at v1.0, not ever. Your morning prayer is not a banner slot.

Rules verified by elders.

Every rule is checked against primary sources and reviewed by tradition elders. When you ask "why this time?" you get an answer with a citation, not a shrug.

Made in India, for India.

Built by two people in Bengaluru, for the families they grew up in. Six languages at v1 — English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. Diaspora support follows.

— When v0.1 is ready, we'll write

Tell us where to find you when it's ready.

We're not launching yet. When the first version is ready and we've tested it with a small group of families, we'll send you one email. That's it.

One email. When it's ready. No marketing. No "are you still interested?" follow-ups.
